Frequently Asked Questions about Debit Cards

 How do I get a contactless card?

When your current card reaches expiration, your newly issued card will be a contactless card. If you would like a contactless card prior to your card expiring, talk to your Universal Banker to arrange for a new contactless card.

 What should I do if I lost my debit card?

If you think your CNB Bank & Trust, N.A. debit or credit card has been lost or stolen, please report it immediately. If you are unable to contact your local branch during normal business hours, please call Shazam at 800-383-8000

 When will my debit card arrive?

Debit Cards are sent by mail and can take 10 to 14 days to arrive. 

How do I activate my new debit card?

When you receive your new Debit Card via mail, instructions will be provided that outline the appropriate steps to take for activation. If you have any questions, please contact your local branch for more information.

I am traveling, will I need to notify my local branch?

Yes. As an additional layer of security, CNB will require a travel notification in order for your debit card to function normally. To notify us of your upcoming travel plans, you can contact your local branch or you can manage travel alerts within the CNB Card Manager app. Our Universal Bankers will need to know the approximate location of your travel plans along with the dates you will be traveling during.

1Merchant terminals may limit contactless card features. Merchant terminals without contactless capability will require the chip or magnetic strip payment method available on your contactless card to complete a transaction.  Merchant terminals may require PIN entry or a signature to complete a transaction.
