Vice President and Computer Operations Supervisor Lisa Wolf Announces Retirement

10/27/2022

IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Carlinville, IL., Thursday, October 27, 2022

After more than four decades of dedicated service, Lisa Wolf is retiring from her position as Vice President and Computer Operations Supervisor at CNB Bank & Trust. Lisa has been a key member of our team since she joined the company in 1981, and her hard work and dedication have been instrumental in our success.

Lisa states: I started at CNB on September 14, 1981, after Raymond Boente called me out of the blue about a job. I worked in bookkeeping under Becky Lowrance. That was back when the computer department was just getting started. We did everything by hand- sorted checks, printed, folded, and mailed the statements. It all seems very primitive compared to today’s automation.

In 1983 I moved to the Computer Department under Jim Ashworth. I was eventually made an Administrative Assistant in the department. In 2011 I was made the head of the department and given the title of Assistant Vice President. In 2019 I was made Vice President of Computer Operations. I have seen a lot in my 41 years, especially going from 1 branch to 18 branches. That is a major change from when I started.

I love to do volunteer work in my spare time. I give platelets every other Saturday at the Mississippi Valley Region Blood Center in Springfield. I started volunteering for Hospice after losing my parents, and just visiting patients in nursing homes. I volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association, being a committee member for the region’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s. I look forward to being able to do more volunteer work and getting a dog to get it certified to visit nursing homes and spending more time with my friends & family once I retire.

We will miss her leadership and expertise, but we wish her all the best in her retirement!
